How To commission a
painting or portrait

| We will need to discuss - preferred size
for portrait, and type of portrait eg head profile or whole body
& back ground. |
| Time frame required by (allow 3-4 weeks) |
| Ideas for painting discussed,
written quote given, normally by email unless otherwise requested.
Please note my final quote does include
framing, as most of my art work is done in pastels they are framed under
glass. I use a very talented professional framer for all my work. Quote
does NOT include freight ( for overseas orders, I can send unframed rolled
in a tube & protected by glassine paper)

| Quote accepted, 50% non-refundable deposit (paid
into bank account, pay pal, or bank cheque). |
| Written or emailed receipt sent.

| Once deposit received, I will start your portrait.
Normally takes 3-4 weeks to complete, depending on
waiting list and if the portrait is needed for a specific date.

| I will contact you one week before due completion
date , to discuss receipt of painting. It is normally the responsibility
of the customer to collect the painting. Delivery, across Melbourne,
inter-state and internationally can be arranged by me, with costs to be
paid by the customer. Where possible
I prefer to deliver in person. |
| I will send you a photo of the work before it is
framed, (customer satisfaction is paramount) I need to ensure you are 100%
happy, and then we will discuss the type of frame you want. Some
clients travel to Ballarat and visit the framer with me. |
| Payment of final 50% required for
collection of painting. |
Pricing
Below is an estimate of pricing for
portraits only, please contact me for quotes or other types of art works.
Framing is an additional cost, and I am happy to pieces framed by my
framer Artec" but can also send works un framed if required. People are
often surprised by framing costs which are usually between $100 - $150.
Pastel art work must be framed under glass.
